  1. A Message to all that Love Me

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not here I do not sleep.
I am the thousands winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on the snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle Autumn rain,
When you awaken in the morning, hush
I am the swift uplifting rush,
Of quiet birds in circled flight,
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there,I did not die.
Robin,I believe this is what Lynn would want
    you to do.

    Love Gordon

  2. Heavenly Smiles
Can you spare a smile? Mine has suddenly washed
    away.
I can't seem to find it anywhere, though I looked
    for it night and day.
I think my friend took it with her to her
magnificent new home in the sky.
I caught a glimpse of her grin as I was sadly
    passing by.
I know it must have upset her, that she
    accidentally took on her trip.
But wait,I see something falling from the sky
    with a bounce and a flip;
It has floated straight into my hands, as I
    nervously opened them wide.
And a smile comes over my face with care, comfort
    and pride.
My friend must have dropped it, as she skipped
    the clouds one by one.
I know she must be happy because a rainbow just
    emerged from the sun.
So you keep your smile, but remind others to
    share theirs with love,for
If you happen to lose it one day, Lynn will send
    you one from above.

  3. In Memory of a dear friend, Lynn Ann Diven
    DOD-March 6,1998
Rest In Peace I heard him say;then I felt the
    darkness overcome the day.
An awkward silence filled the air; no one moved,
    no one spoke,no one dared.
It was if the heavens had parted; an angel
appeared, and your new life had started.
I saw the smile on your face, and realized that
you were headed to a much better place.
I will always remember your curly brown hair,
your skin, like ceramic, was ever so fair.
Your eyes lit up the sky,you had so much honor..
I never knew you to tell a lie.
These are all things I will remember about you,
but more importantly, I will remember that
    our friendship was TRUE.

  4. In Memory Of Lynn Ann Diven 3-11-98
I would like to begin by thanking Lynn's parents for allowing me the honor to speak here today. My desire is that my words will in some way express how Lynn touched my life as well many others in a special way.
Lynn was one of the sweetest, caring, and intelligent young ladies I've ever known.
I first met Lynn last year in my junior English class. She was an extremely gifted student and I know all of her teachers enjoyed having her in there classes. I always looked forward to reading one of her papers or seeing one of her projects because she always did an outstanding job.
Although Lynnwas kind of a quiet person, she had a way of touching the lives of everyone who knew herand even those who didn't. She was a person who never said an unkind word about anyone but was sweet and considerate to everyone. There are few people with those qualities in this world. Lynn always had a cheerful attitude and a beautiful smile that made those around her smile as well. Lynn's closest friends as well those who barely knew her were touched by her and have expressed their feelings in the following statements: READ FRIENDS QUOTES!!
Lynn's gentle spirit and compassionate heart echoed the life of her savior,Jesus Christ. I am thankful for the peace of knowing that Lynn is in the Arms of Jesus right now. Jesus said, "Who soever believes in me shall never die." These are comforting words and a great promise from our lord and Savior during the dark moments of our lives when we must give up one dear to our hearts.
